Account Manager

Red Orange Studio is seeking a highly-organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team as an account manager for a professional boutique-style brand agency.

 

Ideal candidate excels at making sure nothing slips through the cracks and possesses a positive disposition that fosters teamwork. This person will spend a good portion of the day solving problems, developing relationships and putting out fires. The account manager is an essential role that allows other team members to focus on their creative or technical skills knowing that a capable professional is connecting the dots and making sure we deliver quality projects on time and within budget.

 

The account manager will work closely with clients, getting to know their business needs and helping to identify marketing and creative strategies to support their goals. In addition, account manager will be responsible for ensuring collaboration among designers, art directors, developers and other team members as well as vendors and contractors to ensure we are all working toward the same goals.

 

Candidate must be self-motivated and borderline perfectionist.

  • Even more resourceful than Google itself.

  • Flexible and nimble – able to quickly react and shift directions as needed.
  • Highly motivated to deliver quality work in timely manner.
  • College degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related field required.
  • Three years professional experience required. Ad agency experience or in-house marketing / communications experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required. Familiarity with WordPress, project management and CRM platforms preferred.
  • Strong desire to learn and develop as a professional.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple client accounts. Ensure team is working toward common goal and delivering high-quality work on time.
  • Cultivate relationships with clients, colleagues and vendors. Communicate clearly throughout the process and identify clear action steps for team members.
  • Enlist the support of additional resources as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver timely reports.
  • Manage the production of materials from concept through delivery.
  • Oversee quality control of marketing materials.
  • Manage client budgets and regularly communicate progress/status to team and clients.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and deliver results.
