Hi, I’m Azell Duncan! I am so thrilled to be a summer intern here at Red Orange Studio.

 

I recently graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications. Shortly after, I was invited to intern for the summer here at Red Orange! It’s hard to believe, but I have been interning for about six weeks now. Everyone that I have met on the team has been so considerate and cordial.

 

During my short time here at Red Orange, I have already learned many valuable lessons. So far, I’ve strengthened my writing skills, time management skills, learned about brand auditing, as well as the importance of collaboration. Specifically, I have written copy for a website portfolio piece, created social posts for the company’s social media pages, and assisted in the planning and art direction for an internal video series celebrating the company’s 15th anniversary.

These projects and experiences have expanded my capabilities even more than I could have imagined. I cannot wait to look back on my first day here when this is all over and see how much I have grown. As I continue my adventure with Red Orange, I will continue learning as much as I can and saying “YES” to everything so that I will gain experience to further my career.

Here are the things that I am saying “yes” to for my summer internship:

  • Yes, I want to seek out adventures!
  • Yes, I want to learn as much as I can!
  • Yes, I want to be the greatest that I can be!
  • Yes, I want to strengthen my organization skills!
  • Yes, I want to make the most of each project that I work on!

 

So yes, I love my internship so far here at Red Orange and I know that the best is yet to come!
