An Achievable Dream

An Achievable Dream (AAD) is a nationally recognized nonprofit K–12 program dedicated to the belief that all children can learn and succeed regardless of their socioeconomic background. They acquired the Urban Learning Leadership Center (ULLC), a national for profit organization, which prompted the need clarify their brand architecture, develop strategic messaging and create a fresh, sophisticated visual identity that honored its legacy while supporting its future growth.

Nonprofit Brand Strategy

Red Orange Studio quickly identified that An Achievable Dream needed to create a clear brand architecture before embarking on logo solutions. Understanding the organization’s structure and plan for growth, we provided comprehensive brand architecture recommendations, including the recently acquired ULLC. Ultimately the master brand architecture fit best and informed the visual identity for An Achievable Dream and its three sub-brands.

A Sophisticated Master Brand Identity System

Our solution included the creation of one master logo for An Achievable Dream and three variations for the sub-brands: An Achievable Dream Academies, An Achievable Dream Urban Learning Leadership Center (AAD ULLC), and An Achievable Dream Endowment. The ADD ULLC logo used the three-leaf element from their original logo, easing the transition for stakeholders while maintaining a clear connection the master brand. We also provided them with a vibrant, ADA compliant color palette and a brand guide.

Brand Strategy Positions Nonprofit for Future Growth

The visual identity elevated the An Achievable Dream brand, clearly defining the new relationship between AAD and AAD ULLC. Constituents embraced the rebrand and felt energized by the updated look. With a unified brand architecture and a fresh, modern identity, AAD is now strategically positioned for future growth and success.
