Virginia Voice
A New Look.A Stronger Voice.
Virginia Voice, a nonprofit serving individuals with disabilities, turned to Red Orange Studio to refresh their visual identity and better reflect their powerful mission: to connect people to news, information, arts, and culture through technology and the human voice. The result? A vibrant, accessible brand that symbolizes connection, community, and inclusion—helping Virginia Voice expand their impact across the Commonwealth.
A Brand Designed to Be Heard—and Seen
Through a collaborative discovery process, we identified key audience segments including listeners, volunteers, and donors. We worked closely with Virginia Voice to develop a brand that conveyed their core values of connection, care, and accessibility. Together, we created a logo rooted in symbolism—with sound waves forming the shape of Virginia and human figures embedded to represent unity. ADA-compliant colors and fonts ensured the design could be seen and understood by all.
Virginia Voice Rebrand Speaks Clearly to All
We crafted a new logo, brand style guide, color palette, and font system to modernize the Virginia Voice brand while honoring their legacy. An animated version of the logo brought the design to life in digital spaces. Every visual element was created with accessibility in mind, ensuring that the brand could speak clearly to everyone it serves—regardless of ability.
Building Belonging Through Brand
The new brand was embraced with enthusiasm—from board members to volunteers, donors to listeners. Social media engagement skyrocketed, with Facebook likes increasing sevenfold and LinkedIn views rising by 75%. Branded merchandise flew off the shelves at their anniversary gala, transforming supporters into proud ambassadors. More than just a logo, the new identity communicates mission, celebrates inclusion, and invites the community to join Virginia Voice in making a difference.
“Our new logo tells our story in a way people instantly understand. It builds community and gives our listeners a sense of belonging.”
