Red Orange Studio is very proud to announce that a recent project has been selected by Modern Healthcare as an award winner for the 2019 Healthcare Marketing Impact Awards. Our work on the Sentara Healthcare Beyond Cancer campaign was named the 2019 Silver winner for Provider/Insurer Integrated Campaign of the Year.
Beginning in the spring of 2019, Sentara Healthcare approached Red Orange about this community education event. They aimed to break out of their traditional branding and messaging and create something that was uplifting, inspiring and hopeful for cancer patients and their families. Through the creation of an event theme, tagline, video, landing page, print ads, digital ads, signage, programming and a presentation, Red Orange was able to help Sentara execute this award-winning campaign.
Even before receiving this exciting honor, Sentara already dubbed their Beyond Cancer event a success. The event sold out and exceeded expectations in terms of community engagement and patient experience. The hospital’s leadership team was impressed by the video that beautifully captured the thoughts and feelings of cancer survivors. The Sentara digital team was pleased with the increased engagement on social media and results from the ad campaign. It delivered 5.33 million impressions with a Click Thru Rate (CTR) that exceeded the previous year’s benchmark.
