Since 1903, Hilldrup has focused on making moving simple. The moving company’s reputation of trustworthiness and dedication to excellence is ubiquitous throughout their offerings, which range from local moves to international relocation programs. Following a company rebrand, Hilldrup wanted to refresh their marketing materials and messaging, mindful to convey their rich history to customers while simultaneously moving visually toward the future. Hilldrup tasked Red Orange with meeting this forward-minded goal with an elevated aesthetic in their annual report design.

Collaborative Approach

The two teams spent time delving into Hilldrup’s story and exploring their overall goals for the trends report. We collaborated closely with Hilldrup’s internal leadership and marketing team to help evolve their content to speak to their clients’ needs. Since the advent of our relationship, the Hilldrup and Red Orange teams have become increasingly more collaborative on the various projects we now regularly work on together, which include inward and outward facing projects ranging from small print pieces to large-scale, company-wide initiatives.

Solution

To create the trends report, the Red Orange team had to convert raw data into a digestible and visually compelling format. This entailed translating statistics and other pieces of analytic data into a wide range of visual graphics and charts that could more easily communicate the information to readers. After the success of their first trends report, Hilldrup and Red Orange have continued to collaborate on other printed materials as well as large wall graphics for their corporate offices, working closely together from conception to installation.

Outcome

The moving company walked away with a sleek, elegantly designed trends report that was more in line with their current brand and met their future-facing goals. Design elements from the trends report could now be used in other segments of their marketing to add cohesion to their new, modern branding. The wall graphics and refreshed marketing materials also allowed Hilldrup to now clearly communicate their vision, mission and goals to internal and external audiences. Collaborating as true brand partners, our relationship with Hilldrup continues to strengthen with each oncoming project.
