Adira Foundation

The Adira Foundation envisions a world where those with neurodegenerative diseases are living fully. Through grants, research and advocacy, they help people impacted by “the Big 5” neurodegenerative diseases: Alzheimer’s, ALS, Huntington’s, MS and Parkinson’s. Adira’s marketing director reached out to us in their start-up phase, requesting assistance with their website because she was unable to easily edit and maintain it. We provided a user-friendly WordPress solution designed from their pre-existing brand, using intentional and ADA-compliant graphics.

“…I love the team at Red Orange. They took the time to listen to what we really needed and they think about our audience and goals. Their process allows for both autonomy and strategic guidance in the areas of website, design and content development.”

– Kelli Yoder, Former Marketing Director of Adira Foundation

Creative Approach

As the organization grew, Adira Foundation was able to collaborate with the Red Orange creative team to develop new pages, restructure the organization of the site and add new functionality. One of these necessary additions was a streamlined donation module that integrated with their current donor management tool. Working alongside their internal content creation team, we created pages that worked better for their patient and caregiver storytelling.

Adira Our Impact
Adira Donate

As iterations of the website launched, we were able to leverage a customized WordPress builder that allowed for scale and flexibility. As the growing nonprofit had new needs, we carefully took a step back and strategically looked at the big picture, making recommendations that solved the client’s unique challenges.

We provided extensive training to the Adira team to make sure that they felt empowered to update their site when needed. We discussed strategy and best practices, worked closely with internal teams when they had questions, and brainstormed solutions for site expansion and evolution.

In addition to assisting with the website, we were also able to build on the digital platform with a printed brochure that is used for in-person listening sessions with patients and caregivers.

Adira Grants

Working alongside this nonprofit felt like a true partnership. We were able to learn more about the important work they do and the impact they are making on the community they serve. In return, we were able to give them a website that was truly used as a dynamic tool as they evolved and worked to carry out their mission. Training and education was a key component of this successful partnership as we worked to help the client understand how to use and leverage their website.
