Small, Yet Mighty
We are so thankful to have Alex Georghiou Frankart on our team as our Graphic Designer for SLICE. Small, yet mighty (as she says), Alex glides through our doors every day with practically endless energy and enthusiasm. She’s not afraid to roll up her sleeves and dig in to advocate for her clients—in fact, it’s one of the things she loves most about being a graphic designer. Alex lives for the buzz and excitement that comes from helping clients accomplish their goals with designs that will last the test of time. She’s an eager listener and welcomes the various opinions and perspectives that help create the best possible final product. She sees herself as a member of every clients’ team and always strives to make them feel heard and bring positivity and laughter to their day however she can. While she doesn’t take herself too seriously, Alex is focused and determined—working until the job is done, and done right.
Motivated and Client-Minded
An ODU graduate, Alex earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a dual concentration in Graphic Design and Illustration and dove directly into the world of marketing and design. She’s worked in various positions at multiple agencies, which has led to her hybrid design and account management skillset. This valuable blend of work experience gives Alex unique insight into how to best communicate and set her clients up for success, having already walked a mile in their shoes. Her “never-stop-learning” attitude and ability to handle a fast-paced agency environment made her the perfect addition to the Red Orange team in late 2019.
Designer by Trade, Maker at Heart
Alex is no stranger to being creative and making beautiful things. She lives to create, having run her own small freelance business for over five years with a specialty in wedding invitations, hand-lettering and custom illustration. She tries to start every day with a cup of coffee and a good book, which she says helps her better understand other peoples’ perspectives and the general world around us. When she’s not in the office, this family-focused dog-mom and greeting card collector can probably be found crafting or spending quality time with her husband, Billy.
